The Kitsap County Department of Community Development will give brief presentations to review the county's Buildable Lands Analysis and Shoreline Master Program update at upcoming meetings of the Suquamish Citizens Advisory Committee and Kingston Citizens Advisory Council. The public is welcome to join these virtual public meetings to learn more about the programs and find ways to provide input.

The Shoreline Master Program is a comprehensive plan that guides the development, conservation, and restoration of Kitsap County's shoreline. The Department of Community Development, in consultation with local cities, is undertaking a review and evaluation of the Buildable Lands Program, which is required by Washington state Growth Management Act to determine whether growth is occurring as planned within urban areas.
