On October 6, Governor Jay Inslee shared new state guidelines allowing for an expansion of library services permitted for those in Phase 2 counties. These new requirements give us further guidance and we are looking forward to expanding our services in the near future.

As we shared earlier this year, we plan to reopen in phases to ensure both staff and the community's safety. At the beginning of November, we will take the next step towards this goal by offering limited in-building services with the intent to expand.

With ongoing COVID-19 concerns, we understand that many may not be comfortable with in-branch service at this time. So as we move ahead, we will also continue to offer contact-free curbside and online services.

We appreciate your patience as we review the new guidelines and work to offer these next steps in service, safely. Please watch our website, where we will share more information about our timeline and the services you can look forward to in the coming weeks.

Thank you.

With anticipation,

Jill Jean
Library Director

P.S.
While we're working on expanding our services, please enjoy these services, available now:

  • Check out a book and pick it up curbside
  • Share something of interest and let us create a Book Bundle just for you
  • Connect virtually to storytimes, book groups and more
  • Download ebooks, audiobooks and magazines
  • Explore digital learning through Lynda.com, Ancestry Library and Brainfuse
