The Gig Harbor Garden Tour Foundation sponsors this yearly, ticketed, self-guided garden tour where select residents in the Gig Harbor/Key Pen area open their gardens to visitors. Complimenting these gardens are artists selling their artwork. The proceeds from this event go towards local literacy programs in elementary schools and other organizations.

Silverdale Writers' Roundtable meets EVERY Saturday morning at 9:30 a.m. to share novels, short stories, articles, poetry, memoirs, etc. currently in the process (or in the thinking stage) of being written and to receive pertinent and immediate feedback.
