Washington State Parks has announced the free days listed below when the Discover Pass will not be required to visit a state park. While our map on the right shows the location of the Manchester State Park, you can go here for a listing of all state parks! Here are the free park days for 2021:

  • January 1 — First Day Hikes; New Year’s Day
  • January 18 — Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
  • March 19 — State Parks’ 108th Birthday
  • April 3 — Springtime free day
  • June 5 — National Trails Day
  • June 12 — National Get Outdoors Day
  • June 13 — Free Fishing Day
  • August 25 — National Park Service Birthday
  • September 25 — National Public Lands Day
  • November 11 — Veterans Day
  • November 26 — Autumn free day

Please note, free days apply only to day use (not overnight stays or rented facilities). A Discover Pass will still be required on these days to access lands managed by the Washington State Department of Natural Resources and the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife (unless noted).
