BPA Gallery First Friday Art Walk: “What I Do”
Abstract acrylic paintings by Mary Ann Tollefson
First Friday Art Walk Reception April 6 @ 5:00- 7:00 p.m.
Exhibit Continues Throughout April at Bainbridge Performing Arts (BPA)

Join us in the BPA Gallery April 6 for an artist reception and an enjoyable evening of art and friends. The works on display offer intriguing examples of what fuels Mary Ann’s creative energy. Each piece reflects a challenging process of imagining, manipulating, and then defining the combined elements of color, composition, and balance – regardless of the subject or medium. These efforts at restructuring come together at some point, and are resolved in a work that is complete. To Mary Ann, it just feels right.

The BPA Gallery showcases regional artists in monthly rotating exhibits in the C. Keith Birkenfeld Lobby and regularly participates in the First Friday Art Walk from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Gallery hours are 12:00 – 4:00 p.m. Tuesday – Friday plus one hour prior to each performance. Admission is free, and information is available online at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206.842.8569 or in person at BPA, 200 Madison Avenue North, Bainbridge Island.

BPA is supported, in part, by Bainbridge Community Foundation, the City of Bainbridge Island, and One Call for All.

About the Author

Bainbridge Performing Arts: since 1956, countless acts – large and small – have informed each production that graces the BPA stage. Collectively we have grown and reaped a communal bounty of grass-roots ARTivism, with people from all walks of life gathering under one roof to laugh, rage, and cry with friends, family, neighbors, and strangers. As heart strings are plucked in a drumbeat of connection, we turn to you in gratitude for the opportunity to bring a taste of magic to the community that we love!
